Dyslexia Reading Connection® began in 2004 as a project of Appleton Christian School. Under the direction of Nancy Menn, the program proved to be so successful that it was opened to the general public in 2006. Since that time, we have successfully worked with hundreds of students, bringing them into a world that they might never have known.

Today, Dyslexia Reading Connection® is the largest provider of tutoring and screening services for students with dyslexia in Northeast Wisconsin.  We have the knowledge, experience, and flexibility to choose the best method of instruction so that your student can attain grade level reading and spelling with confidence and enjoyment.

At Dyslexia Reading Connection®, we help the dyslexic community by:

• Tutoring – We provide private, one-on-one tutoring in reading and spelling to children, teens and adults using a research based, best method of instruction. DRC serves people from kindergarten through adult, mostly from throughout the Fox Valley Area of Wisconsin – Neenah, Menasha, Hortonville, Appleton, Kimberly and Kaukauna. Most clients are elementary students. Some are middle school, some high school and some adult. They range from complete non-readers to avid, though slow and inaccurate, readers. They have IQ’s in the broad normal range of 80 to 120 or more. Our students attend public, private or home schools and the adults are employed.

• Testing – Our Certified Dyslexia Testing Specialists can provide diagnostic testing and a parent friendly report as a guide in obtaining the tutoring and classroom accommodations.

• Community education – Through one-on-one meetings, open houses, and seminars, DRC hopes to get every school involved in meeting the needs of this population of students.

Dyslexia Reading Connection® is a division of Appleton Christian School, a nonprofit, educational 501(c)(3) corporation. The program is open to children and adults of any race, color, creed, nationality, or ethnic origin.
